As I start to write this it's hard to believe you have been gone two weeks now. When you bring a pet into your home, into your life you can only hope that all goes well. When George entered our lives he brought smiles, laughter and became our new best friend.                                                                                  
I really miss our long walks together, the way you had to stop and sniff something every two feet. The way I could pat your back and you would "dance" or maybe give me one of your famous hip checks. When we got home you would get a big drink of water, and I swear  that it all ended up back on the floor. But that was ok because you were George.                                                                                                                                               
I remember how much you hated the tile floor in the kitchen, unless someone was cooking chicken then you got very brave. When I come home from work now there is no more barking, I used to hate it but boy do I miss it now.                                                                                                                          
George you were with us for only five years but they were great years. I will always miss my soft best friend, our long walks and the way we understood each other.
